Regular iOS updates should be done followed by a Lightspeed Kounta update. Failure to do this will result in issues when you least want them. Before Reporting any issues ensure this has been done in the first instance

Sometimes technology fails and we should always have a Plan B should the till system go down. Know where your Order Pads, Keys for the cash drawers etc.. are in the venue for these moments.

Cash Drawers and Receipt Printing
If the cash drawers dont open and you are having issues with receipt printing, docket printing etc.. Please follow the steps below in order to try and resolve this before ringing Stridey. If you dont know what printer is the master printer, then talk to the GM in the first instance.

1) Ensure that the POS is connected to SSID ‘Front Row Hospitality’ if any POS is connected to the guest wifi the POS system will cease to print and the cash drawers wont open.

2) Is the master printer on and have paper in the printer, if not this will also result in a failure of printing or cash drawers not being able to be opened

Blank Screen on POS - no icons
If the POS screen is blank and no icons are showing this can sometimes mean the POS needs updating. Check there are no iOS updates pending. If there is, run the update and then be sure to run a Lightspeed Kounta update directly afterwards. This should fix the issue. If it doesnt someone Stridey can remove the POS from your site (venue) and can guide you to re-adding it.
